Jibble forums

There are now some forums that can be used by PircBot developers (or users of any of the software on this site). You can read them at http://www.deaded.com/forum/index.php. Feel free to post as well as read!

Thanks to DeadEd for setting up these forums. I didn't have time to do it myself :)

Googlemania

Google is in the news at the moment for having script injection flaws, making it vulnerable to being used for phishing attacks:

But I still love Google. The first ten search results for my name all return things to do with me :)

Another KiteCam auction on eBay

By popular demand, the genuine KiteCam bubblewrap casing is now for sale on eBay, with free postage and packing.

Check out the KiteCam eBay auction.

"This case utilizes the latest high tech polymer and composite construction techniques. The space age bubblewrap casing is strongly bound by stylish brown parcel tape, with a toilet roll used to reinforce the critical area around the camera lens. The high tensile string serves a dual purpose, being used to restrict movement of the payload as well as securing the package to a kite or similar airborne carrier."

The "Buy It Now" price is a very reasonable £1000000. Alternatively, you might like to take advatage of the £0.01 starting bid.

PircBot 1.4.4 coming soon...

I'm currently working on a new release of PircBot, which will make DCC a lot more fun from behind a firewall. Development has been rather sluggish recently, as I've moved house and started a new job. I've started using Skype to handle incoming phone calls, so feel free to phone me (for free!)
